You do not need to choose a product code first
You can begin by choosing the closest item from a product list. Yet even among champon noodles, priorities change depending on whether a cook prepares each serving, customers buy it for home use, or an event team serves many portions quickly.
Describe the use before deciding on a product name. That information gives the noodle maker a starting point for samples and recommendations.
1. Where and by whom will it be cooked?
A specialist using a wok and a retail counter with limited equipment need different handling. Share the kitchen equipment, heat source, pan size, and number of portions prepared at once.
2. What finished dish do you want?
For champon, consider soup strength, ingredient volume, noodle thickness, and desired bite. For sara udon, specify thin or thick noodles and the time between saucing and eating. If improving an existing menu, explain the current problem as well.
3. When and how many portions are needed?
A one-time event, seasonal menu, and year-round product require different preparation. Note the target start date, order size, monthly estimate, and seasonal variation. If quantities are uncertain, a range is enough.
4. Storage and logistics
Can the operation handle chilled, frozen, or shelf-stable goods? How many delivery locations are involved, and how much storage space is available? The flow from receiving to cooking must remain practical over time.
5. Labels, packaging, and sales method
Requirements differ between noodles for in-house cooking and products sold to consumers. For retail, desired serving count, packaging, cooking instructions, and sales area also guide the discussion. Exact labeling and specifications are confirmed once the product and sales method are defined.
